1.  Here are the numbers of days that each car in a select group spent in an airport parking lot.
3, 2, 4, 3, 4, 2, 3, 4, 5, 3, 4, 2, 6, 8, 11, 12, 3, 2, 1, 3, 4, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 4

(a)  Are the data normally distributed? Explain.

(b)  The mean of the data is 4.9 days with a standard deviation of 3.1 days. The parking lot manager said that “68% of the cars park between 1.8 and 8 days.” Evaluate the manager’s statement.
