Identify the postulated impacts the identified trend will have on society or is currently having.

Assignment 1 –Trends(40% of the course grade)
You are required to produce an infographic that will demonstrate your ability toidentify current trends and analyse the impacts these trends will have on society. Thetrends can either be social, cultural or technological. Infographics are mainly used toconvey information through the use of a judicious combination of text (words) and/orgraphic images (symbols or pictures). The infographic must convey its message withimmediacy and purpose. Use the following guidelines to assist you in the designprocess.
Guidelines:
1. Chosen Trend: A good starting point is to identify an area of interest or an areathat you think is of concern i.e. recent incidences or activities in the country orthe globe. For example, current technological trends, wearable technology,autonomous vehicles, social media, health problems, travel. Once you havedecided on a topic start collecting data and materials that can support your topicand help you identify the current trend. Clearly define the trend you have chosento explore, explaining its significance. Provide data, statistics, graphics toshowcase the identified trend. (15 marks)
2. Societal Impacts: Identify the postulated impacts the identified trend will haveon society or is currently having. (15 marks)
3. Design: The Infographic should be both informative and attractive thereforeappropriate design and planning is essential. A good blend of images or graphicsand text is highly recommended. There is no word limit but it has to have enoughinformation in it to get you good marks. (5 marks)
4. Referencing: You must acknowledge all sources of information that you haveused. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. This should be page 2 of the infographic.(5 marks)
Assignment Due Date: Friday, 8 September 2017.The completed poster should be uploaded as a PDF file onto the ‘ePoster Dropbox’on Moodle.
