Expert is called in to determine whether a newly installed machine is producing a particular cloth according to the specifications. The mean warp-breaking strength is 66 pounds. A random Sample of 36 pieces is obtained from production. The result of the sample reveals a mean warp strength of 64.5lbs. and a standard deviation of 5 pounds. Can the expert say that the cotton produced on the new machine meet the warp specifications of the manufacturer at the .05 level of significance?
