We will tour the exhibit and you will have some time on your own to find something to write about.  Look for some of the ethical/moral aims of the Sisters’ work and think about what moral theory we’ve studied is related to it.  You’ll hand in a brief written assessment by Friday.
upload a brief analysis of something you saw at the exhibit that portrays or expresses a moral claim or action.  There are several possibilities for how to do this,
In a particular image or theme of the exhibit, identify what’s being done.  What moral language is used to describe the action (e.g. terms such as “dignity” or “courage,” or descriptions of aims, e.g. “to empower”)?  Identify whether you think a particular moral theory of the three we studied is at work here. Is the action justified in terms of consequences (e.g. greater good) or duties (respect for persons), or virtues (e.g. courage)?  If not, what would one of the moral theories say is the justification for the action or belief in question?
