Your final submission for this course will be a reflection paper covering a topic that will show your synthesis of the material discussed in this course.
Content Requirements
Select a quantitative research article to examine on a topic of your choice. Then, discuss the following points within the body of your final paper:
- What the hypothesis is and the variables being tested.
- What the independent and dependent variable(s) is/are.
- Describe the treatment groups.
- Describe the instrumentation and discuss its consistency with the study.
- How are the statistics reported? If in tables, what highlights does the researcher give and how did s/he compute them (e.g. give formulas and/or citation)?
- How is the research article organized based on your expectations? Explain.
- Your general impression of the article and sources you used to substantiate your position.
- The exact website address (URL) where you read the research paper.
