Weekly Journal Entry
Active learning is a process whereby students engage in activities that promote analysis, synthesis, and evaluation of class content. You learn better by doing. Journal writing is one form of active learning and can be a valuable technique in enhancing your mathematical skills. When one makes an entry into a math journal, it becomes a record of the experience received from a specific math activity. Journal entries provide opportunities for individuals to self-assess what they have learned.
During the course, you will be creating a journal. Each week you will document your experience associated with the application assignment. Each week’s entry should be approximately 250 words up to one page. Each weekly entry will be submitted for review by your instructor.
